WASHING & CARE
HOW TO WASH YOUR Period Panties AND SWIMWEAR?
HOW TO USE YOUR SWIMSUIT AND YOUR Period Panties THE FIRST TIME?
To use your swimsuit and period panties for the first time, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Machine wash your Period Panties and swimwear 2-3 times before their very first use. This activates their maximum absorption capacities and eliminates any manufacturing residues.
2️⃣ Choose the right Period Panties or Period Swimwear for your flow. Models vary in their absorbency, and it's important to choose the one that best suits the intensity of your flow to prevent leaks and ensure optimal comfort.
3️⃣ Put on your period panties or period swimsuit as you would a regular panty or swimsuit. Make sure it fits snugly and properly covers the protection area to prevent leakage.
4️⃣ Depending on your flow and the model chosen, you will be able to wear your Period Panties or your Period Swimwear for several hours without having to change it. However, it is advisable to regularly check the absorption and change panties or swimsuits if necessary to avoid leaks.
5️⃣ Once you are done wearing your period panties or swimsuit, remove it and rinse it with cold or lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Then follow the previously mentioned washing and care instructions to maintain the quality and effectiveness of your period panties and swimwear.
6️⃣ If you need to wear period panties or period swimsuits for a long period of time, it is recommended to have several on hand so that you can change them during the day.
OUR TIPS FOR LOOKING AFTER YOUR BRIEFS AND SWIMWEAR
1️⃣ Rinse immediately after each use with cold or lukewarm water until water runs clear. This helps eliminate menstrual fluids and prevent spotting.
2️⃣ Wash your Period Panties and swimsuits by hand or in the washing machine (delicate cycle, cold or at 30°) with the rest of your laundry. Use a laundry net to protect them from snags and deformations.
3️⃣ Choose a gentle detergent, without bleach, chlorine or harsh fragrances. Avoid using fabric softeners, stain removers or greasy soaps (Marseille, Aleppo, Noir) which could reduce the absorption capacity of your Period Panties.
4️⃣ Air dry your period panties and swimsuits away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Drying and ironing are not recommended, as they can deteriorate the fabric and the absorbent properties.
5️⃣ Regularly alternate the use of your period panties and swimsuits to avoid premature one-piece wear. This allows you to extend the life of every menstrual panty and swimsuit.
6️⃣ In case of stubborn stains, treat them with a natural stain remover like baking soda or white vinegar. Apply a paste made up of water and one of these ingredients to the stain, leave to act for a few minutes, then rinse with cold water before washing as usual.
7️⃣ After swimming in the pool or the sea, rinse your Period Swimwear thoroughly with clean water to remove chlorine, salt and impurities.
8️⃣ Store your period panties and swimsuits in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their absorbent properties and color.
